Front Porch Calling grew from Kristin’s long-standing belief in the importance of community, honest conversation, and creating spaces where women can feel supported and connected. She is especially passionate about helping women build confidence, access resources, and recognize their own strength through shared experiences and relationships.

Meghan Powell is a Director and Community Member of Front Porch Calling, With a background in corporate sales, leadership and formal improvisation training, she has built her work around connecting people and strengthening practical communication skills, such as listening to understand, advocating for oneself, and speaking with clarity and intention. She believes growth happens in community, and that when women feel safe enough to learn, practice, and laugh together, self-trust becomes sustainable.
Front Porch Calling reflects Meghan’s belief that that meaningful conversation can change the trajectory of a woman’s life. Having personally experienced the impact of porch-style conversations with other women, she is passionate about helping women feel seen, supported, and connected to the right resources, empowering them to find their voice and rebuild with courage and community.
